Evangelism & Church Growth Conference
This conference will be held on July 30– August 2, 2012 in St. Pete Beach, Florida. Five of the ministries of the Evangelism and Church Growth area will host their individual conferences, while sharing group meals, worship, and plenary speakers with the other conferences.
The five conferences include:

- Evangelism Conference
- New Church Development Conference

Plenary Speakers
7/30 — Mark Yaconelli is a writer, speaker, retreat leader, spiritual director, community activist, youth worker and storyteller. He is the program director for the Center for Engaged Compassion at Clarement School of Theology and the co=founder of Triptykos, a public action program of the CEC that heals broken people and communities through contemplation, creativity and compassion. Mark spent 20 years working with young people and the people who serve them (parents, youth workers, pastors) in congregational, camp and conference settings.
7/30 — Linnea Nilsen Capshaw has for the past decade served as coach, facilitator, consultant and trainer, assisting faith communities to discern and live out their missions. She accomplishes her goals through a process of assessment, visioning, planning, training and implementation of leadership and organizational strategies. She is founding partner of Deep Shift and is an associate with Easum, Brandy and Associate, which facilitates comprehensive church assessments.
8/1 — Len Sweet is the author of more than 200 articles, 1000 published sermons and almost 50 books, most recently the best-seller Jesus Manifesto, with Frank Viola (Thomas Nelson, 2010), and Nudge: Awakening Each Other to the God Who Is Already There (David C. Cook, 2010). Len often appears on The Church Report’s list of “The 50 Most Influential Christians in America”.
8/2 — Jo Saxton is the director of 3DM, a movement/organization helping church leaders make discipleship and mission the heartbeat of the local church. Before moving to the U.S., she was a youth pastor and later a college pastor at St. Thomas Crookes in Sheffield, U.K. Her first book is called Real God, Real Life (Hodder Religious, 2010).
